On April 2, 2022, we moved into our new home. I had just been married for under five months, and that same day, my beloved dog, who was also just five months old, passed away. As my first pet, his loss made me truly understand the deep bond people share with their furry companions. It was an incredibly difficult moment.

Then, on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, my husband and I debated about getting a small dog. He eventually agreed, smiling, not knowing it would be our last disagreement. That evening, I lost my husband. Overwhelmed with confusion, anger, and sadness, I struggled to cope.

The very next day, my niece called to ask if I still wanted to get a dog. Despite everything happening around me, I agreed without much thought. Later that week, I brought home a new puppy, whom we named Rreyo (Oreo). It felt meaningful that Rreyo was black and white, reminiscent of a pit bull my late husband once had. It seemed like a sign, and I channeled all my love and grief into Rreyo. Sundays became our special time, and I stayed home often to comfort him through his severe separation anxiety.

Upon receiving a standard poodle as a birthday gift from my best friend. I began purchasing numerous items for my pets. The realization of my spending inspired me to start my own pet clothing business.

That's how 2SetsofPaws became to be.
